At the Institute for Transformative Technologies, Pranav supports product and business development for vermifiltration toilets in India.
Before joining ITT, he was working on a project led by the University of California, Berkeley, that aimed to develop and implement hygiene curriculum in low-income schools in India. His responsibilities included leading field visits, collaborating with the Indian government’s flagship program of universalizing elementary education, and piloting interventions on sanitation in the south Indian city of Chennai. He has also worked on other education-focused projects at the Indian Institute of Technology (Chennai), the Duke University’s Talent Identification Program, Pratham NGO in Mumbai, and VidyaGyan initiative near New Delhi.
Pranav holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from Shiv Nadar University in Uttar Pradesh. During his undergraduate years, he also spent a semester in Kunshan, China, where he took classes in areas ranging from evolutionary anthropology to global health. He also holds a master’s degree in management studies from the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in North Carolina.
In his free time, Pranav likes rowing, playing tennis, and drinking steaming cups of tea.
